Abstract
A propósito del Tratado latinoamericano de sociología jurídica, resulta pertinente iniciar poniendo de presente que se trata de un proyecto desarrollado por la Red Latinoamericana de Derecho y Sociedad, la cual reúne a pensadores de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, México, Perú, Uruguay y Venezuela en torno al estudio de la sociología jurídica. Con ese fin, el Tratado genera un dialogo entre diversos autores de origen latinoamericano que exponen y analizan los conocimientos sobre la sociología jurídica y sus problemas en el continente. Cabe agregar, además, que el Tratado se divide en dos grandes secciones: una general y una especial, motivo por el cual el propósito del presente escrito consiste en brindar al lector un recuento sucinto de lo propuesto por los autores con relación a la sociología jurídica.
